Poor dietary habits among adolescents contribute to obesity and chronic diseases in adulthood. This quasi-experimental study evaluated the effectiveness of school-based nutrition education on dietary practices in 700 adolescents aged 12–17 years. The intervention included weekly interactive sessions, educational materials, and parental engagement over six months. Post-intervention results showed significant increases in fruit and vegetable intake (p<0.01) and reductions in sugar-sweetened beverage consumption (p<0.05). Knowledge scores regarding nutrition and healthy eating improved by 35%. The study supports the integration of structured nutrition education programs in schools to promote healthy dietary behaviors and prevent obesity in adolescents.
