Physical inactivity is a growing public health concern among adolescents, contributing to obesity and chronic disease risk. This study assessed the effectiveness of mobile applications in promoting physical activity among 1,000 adolescents aged 12–18 years. Participants used an activity-tracking app with goal-setting, reminders, and social sharing features for six months. Outcomes included daily step counts, self-reported exercise frequency, and sedentary behavior. Results indicated a significant increase in daily physical activity (mean steps increased from 5,400 ± 1,200 to 8,100 ± 1,450, p < 0.01) and a reduction in sedentary time. Mobile app-based interventions represent a feasible, scalable strategy to encourage active lifestyles among adolescents.
